Renowned for being 'The People's Harpist', Bethan is very proud and honoured to have supported, helped and played for so many national and international charities over the last 16 years.

Raising hundreds of thousands of pounds through her music, voluntarily given her time, performances and harp therapy to help others in need.

Her compassion has received great interest and she has received major national and international awards for her work with UK and US Armed Forces, Cancer & Leukaemia, Terminally ill and Palliative Care, Special needs, Multicultural arts, Mental Health, Plan International and the United Nations World Food Program.

Current Charity Work:

'Angel of the Battlefield'

Nicknamed 'Angel of the Battlefield' by UK & US Front Line Troops and wounded soldiers. Bethan has been supporting and helping the UK & US Armed Forces since 2001.Her music has been used with over 29,000 UK & US troops and is being used in 10 war zones around the world. Iraq and Afghanistan being the most apparent. She also supports wounded soldiers and plays at the bedside of those seriously injured here in the UK, Germany and the US.Her work with the troops has been ground breaking and documented. She is the only professional musician and harp therapist in the world, supporting and helping the armed forces through her music. Through her harp therapy work, she is also recognised face and name of 'soldiers Angels' in the USA and has adopted and emotionally supported hundreds of soldiers since 2003.

A Soothing Sound for Sufferers

Using her harp therapy qualifications to help terminally ill and cancer patients, Bethan uses her music in Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy and treatment departments across the UK. She also uses her music with individual patients and also with the dying...

Bethan is constantly training, researching and upgrading her knowledge of working with Cancer in the USA and with pioneering Cancer Institutes in the UK.

Music in Hospitals

Bethan is also currently working on behalf of 'Music in Hospitals', touring and performing across the UK, working with special audiences. She has been using her harp therapy skills combined with her professional performances for this charity for 2 and a half years, performing in Hospitals, Hospices, Care Homes, Special need schools, Day Centres and Mental Health units'.
