From the age of ten, Bethan has been singing and playing the harp. Through her teenage years she won many awards at the Welsh Urdd and Cerdd Dant Eisteddfods. At the age of 18, Bethan studied performing arts and then went on to study harp (Concert pedal/ Triple & Celtic Harp) at the Royal Welsh Collage of Music & Drama. Bethan is one of a very few professional harpists, across the globe who can combine singing with harp playing.
After completing a course on the 'International Harp Therapy Program', in the USA (British women of the Year Foundation Award 2003). Bethan is currently the only professional and practising harp therapist. Training with some of the world's most outstanding students, she has received major national and international awards for her work with UK & US Armed Forces, Cancer & Leukaemia, Terminally ill, Special needs, Multicultural arts, Mental health and Plan international.
As a professional harpist and harp therapy, Bethan tours and performs extensively throughout the UK and abroad. On the international concert platform and private events, you will also see Bethan as a solo and special guest artist for global celebrity musicians.
Bethan has extensively recorded and performed for national and international TV and Radio stations. She is constantly being documented in major newspapers. Also as a recognized and celebrated pioneer, her work is the most documented in the world.
When not playing on the global stage, Bethan enjoys playing for more personal events such as weddings, funerals, dinners, launch parties, official openings, military tours and events, champagne receptions, red carpet arrivals, award ceremonies, professional sporting events, hospitality, charity balls and holistic retreats.
Her audiences have included the Royal Family, Heads of State, MEP's, MP'S, Welsh Assembly, World Congress, International Sports Professionals, Global CEO'S, Paranormal, UK, US, AUS, NZ & CAN Armed Forces, Celebrity Musicians & Pop Stars, International Stars from TV, Film & Stage.

Due to prime interest in 'Therapeutic music, Music and health and music and healing', through the harp. Bethan is forever researching. Undertaking lecturing harp therapy at conferences, with leading specialists and at specilaist concerts through the UK, Europe and America.
In 2006 Bethan also became a solo artist for the charity 'Music in Hospitals', performing around the UK for special audiences, creating joy through live music.
'Angel of the Battlefield'
Nicknamed 'Angel of the Battlefield' by UK & US front line troops, Bethan is also proud and honoured to have been supporting and helping UK & US Armed Forces on the front line, Wounded soldiers and War veterans (from every war) for 9 years. Bethan is NON-Political, her work has been through looking after the emotional wellbeing of our Service men and women, also our emergency services through harp therapy.
Bethan was also part of the official openings of Ty Hafan Children's Hospice; the first harpist to play for the African commission at Africa House, London. She also represented the UK as an international soloist for the United Nations World Food Program.
